If you enjoy camping and fishing, Fall River Lake is an ideal spot. Boating on this 2,500-acre lake, in the southeast part of the state, is open to all types of boats from kayaks to power boats. Campgrounds line nearly half of the dozen miles of shoreline, with plenty of access for fishing from the bank. Big crappie, bragging size catfish, and big schools of white bass populate the fishery. Bass and sunfish also reside here and can provide excellent fishing at times.
