Access to the 45 miles of shoreline, for fishing from the bank, is easy at Canton Lake. Use numerous unimproved roads and trails off the main roads around the lake. This is an 8,000-acre reservoir in the northwest part of the state, at Longdale. The lake is home to hybrid stripers (wipers), white bass, catfish, sunfish, walleye and largemouth bass. An annual walleye derby, and bass tournaments are held here due to the great fishing. Several boat ramps are available to the public.

Located in the southwest corner of the lake, off N2466 Road, there are two, two-lane, concrete ramps with docks and paved parking.
