Guide To Fishing At Green River Lake
AKA: Green River Reservoir

Known for quality muskie and crappie fishing, Green River Lake is an 8,200-acre lake in the central part of the state, 2 miles south of Campbellsville, KY. Anglers can explore the 250 miles of shoreline by boat, or in some areas from shore.
In addition to crappie and muskie, populations of bass, catfish, walleye, white bass and sunfish all thrive here as well. Three marinas, ten boat launch ramps and two fishing piers provide convenience to access this fertile fishery. There are also numerous other places with access to the bank for fishing from shore or for launching a canoe, kayak or small john boat. Other than some scattered brush in the upper end of the lake, there is little natural cover for fish. The Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife has added fish attractors throughout the lake to enhance development of fish populations. Fishing near these man-made structures can enhance chances for anglers to be successful.
