The larger of the Twin Lakes, Washining Lake is a 570-acre lake located in the far northwest corner of the state, 3 miles west of North Cannan. This fishery offers bass addicts over three miles of shoreline to work in search of quality largemouth.
Crappie, trout, salmon, sunfish and pickerel also draw attention from anglers. Boaters should know there is a 35 MPH speed limit on the lake. O'Hara's Landing Marina has a boat launch ramp, rental boats and bait. Nearby the marina along Twin Lakes Road, anglers can find areas for fishing from the bank.
