Fishing for largemouth bass, spotted bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, black crappie, white crappie, bluegill, redear sunfish, warmouth, white bass, yellow bass, hybrid striped bass, chain pickerel and longnose gar at Caddo Lake in East Texas.

Known for trophy bass and quality crappie, Caddo Lake is a 25,400-acre fishing lake on the eastern border of Texas, with Louisiana. Cypress trees, brush and vegetation are plentiful cover throughout the lake, making it an excellent environment for multiple fish species. In addition to bass and crappie, the lake maintains populations of catfish, bluegill, hybrid stripers, sunfish, chain pickerel and gar. A variety of boats are available for rent at the lake and public boat ramps provide easy for launching of pleasure, water-sport, pontoon and fishing boats. Canoes and kayaks are popular here and allow anglers access to vast areas of backwater fishing areas. There are numerous places with access to the shoreline for anglers who prefer to fish from the bank.

Located in the northwest corner of the lake, off Mc Boat Ramp 3644 Road, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with a dock and paved parking.

Starr Ranch Boat Launch
Located in the northwest corner of the lake, off Star Ranch Road, this is a one-lane, concrete ramp with gravel parking.
