AKA: Trinidad Lake State Park
Fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish, black crappie, walleye, rainbow trout, brown trout, saugeye, bluegill, yellow perch and wiper at Trinidad Lake in Colorado.
Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains as you go boating and fishing on Trinidad Lake. Well stocked with trout, this is an 800-acre lake in the southeast part of the state, where you can be very confident about catching fish. In addition to trout, bass, walleye, crappie, catfish, perch and hybrid striped bass call this fishery home. Much of the 15 miles of shoreline can be traversed for fishing from the bank. Ice fishing in winter can be excellent for trout, good for walleye, perch and crappie. A public boat launch ramp and camping at the lake make this a great destination for a camping, boating fishing getaway. Most amenities are at or nearby the lake. The lake is a popular fishing tournament venue.
