With over 50 miles of shoreline, Lake Wallenpaupack has plenty of places to fish. And, this a 5,600-acre lake in the northeast part of the state has a wide variety of fish species to catch. Bass, crappie, walleye, trout, stripers, perch, sunfish and more populate these waters in quality as well as quantity. There is plenty of accessible shoreline for fishing from the bank, and fishing gear is available for rent at the Visitors Center.

Public Boat Launch Ramps & Landings

Ironwood Point Recreation Area Launch Ramp
Located near the southern end of the lake, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with limited parking.

Lake Wallenpaupack Boat Ramp
Located in Mangan Cove, at the northern tip of the lake, this is a four-lane, concrete ramp with ample paved parking.

Ledgedale Recreation Area Boat Launch
Located just south of the Ledgedale Road bridge, on the west side of the lake, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with ample paved parking.
