Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, walleye, rainbow trout, lake trout, steelhead, bluegill, rock bass, yellow perch and northern pike at Glen Lake in Michigan.
The turquoise, clear water of Glen Lake is home to multiple fish species a 6,300-acre lake on the upper west edge of the lower peninsula. There are 17 miles of shoreline and the lake offers water to depths over 140 feet. A public fishing pier in Beulah allows anglers to fish for pike, perch, bluegill, trout, walleye, catfish and bass. The Perch Fishing Contest of the Glen Lake Winterfest is held annually, along with regular ice fishing during winter. Multiple marinas and several places to launch boats, including Glen Lake DNR Boat Ramp, are available to serve the boating and fishing public.
